About the title
The hunt for the empire's gold continues. A priceless scepter, a treasure meant to provide a fabulous life in sunny Rio de Janeiro, has slipped from the tenacious grip of Ibragim Bender and his young apprentice Ostap and ended up with Nestor Makhno. He is certain this is far from the only precious relic hidden nearby. So the Reds, the Whites, bandits and partisans get drawn into a race for the mythical gold, and Osya, together with his swindler-mentor Ibragim, must outdo himself to avoid capture and get hold of the scepter. And along the way — to win back the trust of the most beautiful girl, who has become disillusioned with Osya and is getting married.
