About the title
Ibrahim Bender and Osya Zadunaisky have become too well known — they're wanted by the police of two countries, Russia and Turkey. Chasing Count Rumyantsev's golden scepter, they must disguise themselves as circus performers, terrorists, and even as two traveling ladies, a mother and daughter, aboard a ship. This is how Osya and Bender end up in Turkey. Meanwhile, Osya's mother falls into the clutches of the sinister Satanist Crowley, who treats his wealthy guests to the blood of trusting, impoverished émigré women. By an incredible coincidence, the golden scepter ends up in Crowley's treasury. The chase for the jewel will end in a sinister medieval castle...
