About the title
Anna lives in Brazil and is divorcing her husband, while her brother owes the mafia a large sum of money and is about to be killed. The only chance to save her irresponsible brother is a piece of land in California that Anna received in the divorce settlement. Traveling there with her lawyer, she discovers that a hotel has recently been built on her land, owned by Jack. Anna goes to war with Jack over this attractive piece of real estate, without noticing that she is falling in love with him.
