About the title
During his divorce from his wife, Max recalls his childhood, when his parents — who were also about to divorce — sent him for the summer to his grandfather, a war veteran, in the village. Back then the strict grandfather became a true friend and teacher for the boy, as well as a witness and participant in his many pranks.
