About the title
A crime film about a detective named Val Barber, who takes on yet another tangled case. His client is a wealthy woman trying to find her granddaughter, named Sarah. At first the protagonist is confident he'll find the girl in no time, but facts that suddenly come to light turn the investigation upside down. Through his actions, Barber crosses paths with people who hold power and money. Criminals begin doing everything they can to obstruct him, forcing the detective into a serious choice. If he keeps digging, he will certainly be killed — and in the most demonstrative and brutal way.
