About the title
Isabel, a single mother, can hardly believe her luck: she is moving in with her children to a prestigious residential complex with surprisingly affordable rent. But the euphoria very quickly gives way to chilling unease - she notices frightening oddities happening in the building. Each day the paranoia deepens, and Isabel increasingly senses that something sinister is hiding beneath the floor of her apartment.
