About the series
Donny moves to London, dreaming of becoming a comedian, but things don't go quite smoothly. While working at a bar, Donny makes a friendly gesture toward a lonely woman named Martha, and... finds himself at the center of emotional chaos - a mad obsession that threatens to destroy both characters' lives: one acts destructively toward others, while the other is consumed by self-doubt, and a bizarre, thoroughly toxic bond forms between them. An adaptation of Richard Gadd's one-man show of the same name, based on real events.
