About the title
Sasha Rodionov, a shifty cash-out operator from Moscow, owes money to a dangerous crime boss known as the Beekeeper. The Beekeeper never forgives delays and deals ruthlessly with debtors, so Sasha flees to Dagestan with his family under a witness protection program. The trouble is that his wife and children believe it's just an ordinary vacation, so now Sasha has to pass off a ramshackle shed in a mountain village as a trendy eco-hotel. But the hotel's growing popularity reveals Rodionov's location to those who wish him harm.
