About the title
Long ago, when India was still divided into many kingdoms and a desperate struggle was waged over each one, there lived the Pandava brothers: Yudhishthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula, and Sahadeva. Not just brothers, but princes of royal blood, nephews of the reigning king of Hastinapura. As they grow up, they become fierce rivals of their cousins, the Kauravas, destined to one day face them in a decisive duel. The confrontation between the Pandavas and the Kauravas forms the basis of the Indian epic "Mahabharata."
