About the title
In the near future, the world order has changed. With 10 million unemployed citizens, France has become a poor country. Its people are preparing to revolt, and the authorities, trying to deflect their anger, find a solution in televised broadcasts of brutal fights in which combatants, pumped full of stimulants, battle to the death. Ares is a failed boxer. When his sister is arrested, he agrees to take a new drug that will help him win.
