About the series
A "found footage" horror produced by James Wan ("Saw X," "The Conjuring"), a classic of modern horror. Young archivist Dan (Mamoudou Athie) takes on the restoration of damaged 1994 videotapes and realizes he's working with materials from documentary filmmaker Melody (Dina Shihabi), who was investigating a mysterious cult. The series' showrunner is Rebecca Sonnenshine, creator of "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Boys," and the director is Rebecca Thomas, who worked on "Stranger Things."
