About the title
Mario is married to Carla, a wealthy businesswoman. She leaves for a couple of days to Geneva, while he has a date with Monique, a Swedish stewardess. Carla's flight is cancelled, she heads home, and is about to catch Mario red-handed. Mario is saved by his old school friend Enrico, an unlucky salesman who came to convince Mario to buy a toilet from him so he won't be fired. Mario signs the order in exchange for Enrico agreeing to pass Monique off as his wife.
