About the title
Nurse Sophie is raising her daughter, who is hostile toward her, alone, and grieves for her husband, who died a year earlier because of a drunk driver. When a family friend, the physicist Jabir, one day confesses that he has built a miraculous machine capable of altering the past, Sophie, of course, doesn't believe him. But she agrees to the experiment, since it could result in bringing her beloved man back to life.
