About the title
A desperate gang breaks into a wealthy doctor's home and takes him hostage. After the trio's bold plan to seize the house succeeds, local sheriff Watts heads to the house to try to persuade the fledgling criminals to lay down their weapons and surrender. But soon city officials lose patience and order the house to be stormed at any cost. This decision leads Watts to wonder what's really going on.
