About the title
In a comedic style, the film depicts the most complicated period in the founding of the new nation — the era of the American Revolution. But the film contains far less history than "beyond the pale" humor. George Washington wields chainsaws, his friend Sam Adams would rather drink beer than make history and help George put the insolent British in their place. Viewers can also expect a "lumberjack" who looks more like RoboCop, a whiny King George, and the warrior Geronimo.
