About the title
Lisa and Simon are young, beautiful, and immensely happy, but fateful circumstances shatter their idyll. Simon becomes a criminal against his will. He is forced to flee, cutting ties with his beloved. After three years of futile waiting, Lisa marries. Together with her husband, she travels to an exotic island in the Indian Ocean, where, as it turns out, her former lover is hiding.
