About the title
A young journalist named Jenny Rathmore arrives at the cold country home of Ivan Efron, who breeds and trains falcons. She pretends to want to interview him, but from the very first minutes she brings up his mother, the recluse Nana, famous for her gift of healing the sick. Having lost her younger son, she voluntarily parted with her elder one in order to leave people forever while at the same time devoting herself to them. Decades later, Ivan decides to track down the mother who abandoned him as a child. He travels to a remote area beyond the Arctic Circle together with Jenny, who is hiding her own personal reason for meeting the healer.
