About the title
On top of that, a girl keeps pestering him for love and attention, giving him no peace. A villain, the Serpent Tugarin, attacks Popovich's village with his entire gang. To get rid of him, Alyosha, together with his uncle Tikhon, decides to set a trap for him. The villagers first thought about killing their "savior," but then let him go. The warrior-hero's conscience won't let him sit at home eating food he hasn't earned. He sets out on his journey, firmly determined to take back the gold and punish the bandit — at first alone, and later joined by Tikhon, who acquires a horse along the way.
