About the title
Alma Imhoff, a philosophy professor at Yale University, is closing in on her goal — tenure. One evening, her star student Maggie shows up at her home. The girl accuses Hank Gibson — a colleague, Alma's close friend, and at the same time her rival for the permanent position — of rape.
