About the series
Valentin Semyonych is a modest retiree and former pediatrician, used to a quiet life in an old Khrushchev-era apartment building. But one day his friend, the grumpy house spirit Afonya, arranges an unexpected "gift" for him - a new apartment in a modern building. The housewarming brings not only comfort but also a host of problems: the residents are in no hurry to become friendly neighbors, and the management of the otherworldly housing authority "Zhilishchnik" demands that Afonya urgently restore order. Now Semyonych and his invisible friend must join forces: the old man gets a job as a concierge to become the house spirit's eyes and ears, while Afonya uses his magic (and more) to manage the building. But will they be able to cope with noisy neighbors, leaking radiators, and the bureaucratic complications of the otherworldly realm?
