About the title
The story of how James Bowen, a street musician recovering from drug addiction, met a ginger street cat and his life changed for the better. The touching family tragicomedy "A Street Cat Named Bob" is based on the autobiographical book of the same name by James Bowen — a man who managed to save his life from final ruin thanks to a homeless ginger cat. The inspiring work instantly became an international bestseller and spawned a whole series of sequels, telling interesting, sometimes sad and sometimes funny stories about Bob and his owner.
