About the series
The story of the notorious MI6 agent and Soviet spy Kim Philby has been told many times before, but "A Spy Among Friends" reinterprets it in a new way, drawing inspiration from Ben Macintyre's book of the same name. The stakes are high. The series features a star-studded cast, and it aims to be a gripping story of intrigue, deception, and uncertainty, spanning locations from Istanbul, Beirut, and London to Moscow and Ohio. The plot begins with the huge revelation that Philby is a traitor who worked for the KGB and had been supplying them with information for the last 20 years.
