About the title
Ove is an elderly, fussy grump who pesters his neighbors with endless nitpicking. He flies into a rage at the sight of trash thrown in the wrong place or a car parked incorrectly. And he curses out the frivolous family of newcomers next door, whose father can't even drive a nail. But Ove can do everything. Perfect order always reigns in his house and garage — just as it does in his mind. The only problem is that life stopped having any meaning for him long ago.
