About the title
A film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Sara lives like a princess in exotic India with her loving father, but he is called up for military service, and he brings Sara to a private boarding school in New York. For the headmistress, the cheerful Sara is a troublemaker. But the girl is sustained by the thought that to her father she will always remain his beloved little princess. Courage, kindness and imagination allow her to overcome all hardships and help those around her… After all, a princess is always and everywhere a princess.
