About the title
12-year-old schoolgirl Mary O'Hara lives in Dublin with her mother Scarlett and her grandmother. The time comes when the girl has to face the fact that her beloved grandmother will soon pass into another world. One day, a mysterious young woman appears on the street where Mary lives, carrying a message for her grandmother. It soon turns out that the stranger is the ghost of the grandmother's mother — that is, Mary's great-grandmother. She has come to help her daughter say a peaceful farewell to her loved ones and safely guide her out of the world of the living. But for this the ghost needs the help of Mary and her mother Scarlett, who must embark on an exciting journey into the past.
