Widow Holly is shocked when her teenage daughter Betsey suddenly announces that her body no longer belongs to her, but is a vessel for some higher power. The girl refuses all food, yet loses no weight whatsoever. For Holly, this becomes a serious test of the limits of what she is willing to believe.
