About the title
The film tells the story of two guys who, since childhood, have stood on opposite sides of the social ladder. "Nerd" Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and macho jock Jenko (Channing Tatum) disliked each other back in school, but training at the police academy brought them together. After graduating, the heroes of the comedy "21 Jump Street" begin working for a secret service department, where the newly minted cops are given a serious assignment — to infiltrate a college student body in order to uncover a crime brewing among the youth.
