About the title
Kabul, August 15, 2021. As American troops prepare to leave Afghanistan, the Taliban storm the capital and seize power, plunging the city into chaos. Thousands of Afghans rush to the last safe haven — the French embassy, where commander Mohamed Bida and his elite team are ensuring security. Trapped inside along with hundreds of civilians, Bida — supported by Eva, a young French-Afghan humanitarian worker — is forced to negotiate with the Taliban to organize a convoy for evacuation in a final desperate attempt to escape. Thus begins a race against time to reach the airport and leave the hell of Kabul before it's too late.
