About the title
Cherry and her husband Jerome are summoned by the tyrant Birdman, who demands they conceive a child, since they have failed to do so in the months since their wedding. Cherry is warned of the consequences if there is no result within a hundred and one nights. Jerome, who does not love his wife and cares little for her fate, makes a bet with his charming friend Manfred: if the friend manages to seduce Cherry, he will receive the wife and the castle as his reward. Jerome sets off on a journey, and Manfred gets to work. However, Hero, Cherry's friend and maid, tries to stop the new guest, telling an interesting story every day to distract him from Cherry.
